7 STEPS HOW I STOPPED MY EXTREME HAIR LOSS AFTER COVID

Does your hair fall out every time you comb? Does it make you anxious that you might brush all the hair off your head? Trust me, I’ve been through the same gut-wrenching experience before, and it feels like the further you brush, the more alarming it gets. Chin up, though, because you are not alone. Luckily, I found a way to STOP my hair loss and regrow the hair strands that gave up on me.

I want to share with you 7 STEPS that helped me beat my hair loss in less than 3 weeks!

I recently heard the quote:

“Invest in your hair; it is the crown you never take off”.

But how important is your hair? And how do you really take care of it, especially if your body slowly starts to give up on you? What crown are you wearing if your hair is falling out?

My body worked against me recently, I was infected by Covid in September, and it had a terrible effect that made my hair fall out uncontrollably.

I don’t know about you, but this queen won’t give up on her crown, that’s for sure! Luckily, I found a way to grow back the lost strands of my hair, and they are growing back better than ever. Does it sound familiar? Keep reading; my journey might help you save yours too.

What I have in this article are 7 steps I did to resolve my hair loss issue. Let’s not keep you waiting and get to it.

Step 1: Take your blood test

Before doing anything, book yourself a blood test and wait for the result. This will reveal if you have nutritional deficiencies. Surely, this is an important piece of the puzzle in solving your hair loss problem.
If you decided to take the blood test in the UK, make sure to give them a call afterwards, to inform them that you wanted a copy of your result. Otherwise, if everything is normal, they won’t say anything at all.

I can tell you what I needed to check. There’s a possibility that you might need to look out for other things, as it may appear different depending on the person's lifestyle diet and other things to consider, but here are the things that my doctor recommended to check:

1. Iron

2. Vitamin D3 3.

3. Vitamin B12

4. Ferritin

5. Morphology

6. OB - ESR

It will be beneficial to check your thyroid (TSH, T4)|, estrogen, and testosterone levels.

Then If you have your blood test result is time to take STEP 2.

Step 2: BOOK appointment with the specialist

Start contacting the best trichologist in your town, and always look for a second opinion.

Especially if your gut feeling says so, make sure to find someone who cares about you and not someone who ignores you. It is important to find a sincere doctor that can explain the things you need to know. Find someone genuinely concerned about you.

What Does a Trichologist Do?

Trichologist is a specialists working in this field help people with issues such as hair loss, hair breakage, oily scalp, and scalp psoriasis. Some trichologists can also treat problems related to conditions like alopecia and trichotillomania, or hair-pulling disorder

Remember to bring your blood test result with you on your first appointment. This will help the doctor to assess you effectively and prescribe the right supplements for you to balance the nutrition in your body. After that, your doctor can set up for you the best treatment plan.

Step 3: Treatments that stopped my hair loss

In Poland, my doctor decided to do an accelerated treatment since I had limited time. She managed to squeeze 4 visits for me, and in each session, we successfully did all three treatments.

Believe it or not, after my third session, I could already see the difference! What more on my fourth! My heart was filled with happiness and it made me glad that I did these treatments. If I Hadn’t done that, I probably would have lost 3⁄4 of my hair.

Just to give you an idea, these are the treatments I did:

  • Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a non-invasive technique based on superficial microinjections, just below the epidermis, into the target tissues. The term «meso» is derived from the mesoderm or middle layer of the skin (approx. 1 mm deep). Mesotherapy is a treatment that stimulates the mesoderm, which relieves a wide variety of symptoms and ailments. The solution injected can contain a wide range of minerals, vitamins, amino acids, nucleic acids and co-enzymes that can be tailored to each patient’s individual needs.

  • Carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy for hair loss is a non-surgical treatment, which involves small injections of carbon dioxide gas below the skin’s surface. The treatment stimulates hair growth by improving circulation, oxygenation and the supply of nutrients to the scalp and can be combined with other treatments.

  • Oxygen therapy

Oxygen therapy for hair loss is an innovative therapy increasingly used to revitalise scalp and hair, using oxygen with a purity of 99%, which has the ability to deeply hydrate and invigorate both skin and hair.

I hope you find the courage to give it a shot because it really did help my hair recover fast. You will never regret doing it.

Step 4: Farewell My Dear Brush

It made me sad to let go of my old friend brush. But how can you not do it if it’s not helping you anymore? my doctor suggested getting myself a boar bristle brush. And I’m pleased I did. I had an amazing result, and I can definitely tell the difference.

Step 5: Hair Care

And here I was so surprised. My doctor told me to simply wash my hair with the intimate hygiene liquid, then rinse it well. She told me as well to use shampoo or conditioner for the ends of my hair. I was scared that I won't be able to brush them. BUT it turns out that my hair acts amazing after! They are shiny and easy to brush.

Yes! I'm using these products.

The best part is that they are so cheap!

Step 6: Supplements

As I remind myself of the three consultations I had with all three trichologists, two of them suggested proteoglycans by Nourkrin. This supplement can be purchased at the professional hair clinic. Another option is through online. I take it three times a day together with my iron supplement which is twice a day.

Proteoglycans are key functional molecules, consisting of core proteins, found extensively throughout the human body and influential to the maintenance of a balanced and healthy Hair Growth Cycle and general healthy hair growth.

In the hair follicle, they are responsible for regulating the way the hair grows and are key to ensuring that each follicle performs its Hair Growth Cycle correctly. Studies have shown that, when these molecules are depleted or missing, the follicle becomes disrupted in the Hair Growth Cycle and hair thinning or hair loss occurs.

Step 7: Switch On Your Stress Level Radar!

It may sound like Covid is the one to blame, but stress levels may contribute to your hair loss. It’s challenging to balance your life if you have a career and a family to look after. We often set aside ourselves and put them first. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it makes our bodies suffer eventually if we don’t bring balance into our lives.

You can’t deny that there’s no substitute for a great sleep at night and that you need to give your body a break from working out too hard. Sometimes, a peaceful scenic walk will suffice, and finish your day with a warm bath. Cheer up, let it go, and turn your frown upside down.

Final Thoughts

I’m grateful that I get to share my experience with you. I must admit, it was a rollercoaster ride looking for the right trichologist who really cares. Especially for someone experiencing it with no knowledge at all, it’s like I’m walking on eggshells.

Just make sure to take your blood test with you on your first appointment. Get yourself a great doctor. Believe me when I say it’s really important because a good doctor will save you from insanity.

Make your treatment happen, and take the recommended supplement. Be mindful of your thoughts and leave the stress behind. I know it won’t be easy, but it is definitely worth trying. Choose the right people to support you in this chaotic life, if they motivate you or they just put you down.
